General Provisions
§ 1
1. The Foundation for the promotion of youth development towards Christian values under the name “Future for Kids”, hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”, established by Sofiia Androshchuk, by way of a notarial deed drawn up by notary Iwona Łacna at the Notary Office of Monika Barczuk, Iwona Łacna Civil Partnership in Wrocław, at ul. Henryka Sienkiewicza 34a, on September 12, 2024, operates on the basis of Polish law and these Statutes.
2. The Foundation may use the shortened name: Fundacja „Future for Kids".
3. The Foundation has legal personality.
4. The Foundation is established for an indefinite period.
5. The Foundation operates within the territory of the Republic of Poland and abroad, in accordance with applicable laws.
6. The seat of the Foundation is the city of Wrocław.
7. Supervision over the Foundation is exercised by the minister responsible for family, labor, and social policy.
Objectives and Principles of the Foundation's Operation
§ 2
1. The objectives of the Foundation are:
- Shaping the attitudes of mature Christians by spreading values.
- Supporting children and youth (education, organization of leisure time and recreation).
- Activities aimed at expanding youth networking and contacts.
- Counteracting the exclusion of children and youth at risk of poverty or originating from dysfunctional families.
- Supporting individuals in difficult life situations.
- Initiating and supporting innovative solutions in areas of social life.
- Supporting appropriate social attitudes sensitive to social problems.
- Activities for the benefit of persons with disabilities.
- Supporting education, schooling, and upbringing.
- Conducting charitable activities.
- Supporting training and information projects conducted by NGOs and individuals.
- Supporting the comprehensive development of children and youth in accordance with Christian values.
- Promotion of employment and professional activation.
- Supporting health protection and promotion.
- Supporting respect for moral and ethical principles.
- Development of general knowledge and professional qualifications.
- Supporting development based on Christian values.
- Shaping attitudes conducive to environmental protection.
- Promoting conscious family establishment and parenthood.
2. The Foundation pursues its objectives through:
- Educational and publishing activities.
- Promotion of an active, healthy lifestyle among children and youth.
- Organization of sports events.
- Conferences, conventions, lessons, courses, and training.
- Rallies, camps, and sports competitions.
- Ecological events concerning the natural environment.
- Festivals, fairs, and picnics.
- Cultural events.
- Supporting religious communities.
- Programs for equalizing educational opportunities.
- Funding scholarships.
Assets and Income of the Foundation
§ 3
1. The assets of the Foundation consist of the founding fund in the amount of PLN 1,000 and other property acquired by the Foundation.
2. The Foundation's income comes from:
- Donations, inheritances, and bequests.
- Grants and subsidies.
- Public collections.
- Assets of the Foundation.
- Interest and bank deposits.
3. Income may be used with respect for the will of the donors.
4. Declarations regarding donations or inheritance shall be made by the Management Board of the Foundation.
5. In the event the Foundation is called to inherit, the Management Board shall decide on the acceptance or rejection of the inheritance.
6. The Foundation is prohibited from engaging in activities consisting of:
- Granting loans to the Founders, members of the Council, the Management Board, or employees.
- Transferring assets to the aforementioned persons on terms other than market terms.
- Using assets for their benefit inconsistently with the statutory objectives.
- Purchasing goods or services from related entities on non-market terms.
Authorities of the Foundation
The authorities of the Foundation are:
- The Management Board of the Foundation
- The Foundation Council
The Foundation Council
§ 4–7
The Foundation Council is the body responsible for supervising and providing opinions on the Foundation's activities. It consists of 3–6 members appointed for a five-year term of office.
Its tasks include, among others: setting directions of activity, supervising assets, approving reports, appointing and dismissing the Management Board, amending the statutes, making decisions on the merger or liquidation of the Foundation, and determining the remuneration of the Management Board.
The Management Board of the Foundation
§ 8–11
The Management Board manages the Foundation's activities and represents it externally. It consists of 1–3 members appointed for a five-year term of office.
The competencies of the Management Board include, among others: implementing statutory objectives, managing assets, preparing plans and reports, hiring employees, representing the Foundation, and applying for amendments to the statutes, merger, or liquidation of the Foundation.
Method of Representation
§ 12
The President of the Management Board is authorized to make declarations of will on behalf of the Foundation independently for amounts up to PLN 50,000; for amounts exceeding this limit, two members of the Management Board acting jointly are required.
Economic Activity
§ 13
The Foundation does not conduct economic (business) activity. Any change in this regard requires an amendment to the Statutes.
Seal, Badges, and Honorary Distinctions
§ 14
The Foundation may use a seal and a logo, and may establish badges and distinctions for persons of merit.
Amendment of the Statutes
§ 15
Amendments to the Statutes shall be made by the Foundation Council at the request of the Management Board.
Merger with Another Foundation
§ 16
The Foundation may merge with another foundation, provided that such merger does not change its objectives. The decision is made by the Foundation Council unanimously.
Liquidation of the Foundation
§ 17
The Foundation shall be liquidated in the event of achieving its objectives or upon the exhaustion of its funds. Assets remaining after liquidation shall be transferred to organizations with similar statutory objectives.
